It's ALL about the experience... Yes, beautiful images are KEY and a definite must when you're making that all important decision on who to hire for your wedding, however equally important is the way you FEEL at the end of it all! This is where I come in!
My job is simple... to make you HAPPY!! I want you and your honey to be laughing, smiling, and so comfortable with me that you literally forget the fact that I am there as your photographer! At the end of the day, my couples are my FRIENDS... not my clients, and there is nothing better than knowing your friend has your back and is willing to do whatever it takes to make sure your day is magic!
Your images AND your memories are completely dependent on how comfortable you are with your photographer!. After all, your wedding photographer is the one person who will by your side more than any other person on your wedding day (other than your husband/wife, of course)! So, hiring a photographer who not only has the style of photography you adore, but also a fun, outgoing attitude is so important ... and that's exactly what you get with me.

Complimentary Engagement Sessions
I am a HUGE fan of engagement sessions and for this reason I have included them in all of my wedding packages as a little gift to you! This is where the MAGIC happens and we'll create some gorgeous images for your save-the-dates, invites, website registry, guest book, and of course your Facebook & Instagram for your friends and family to "ooh and aww" over. You'll receive 50-100 high-resolution photographs from this session, in an online password protected gallery that you can share with everyone you love! Most sessions last roughly 1.5 hours and are scheduled during the week about an hour before sunset!

The decision to purchase products is handled AFTER your wedding day, and it's 100% optional, but you can certainly add an album now. I want you seeing your photographs before you commit to making a decision to purchase a certain number of prints and wall art. It's an investment, and it's one I want you feeling 110% excited about.

If you are reading this you are probably where I was about a year ago, trying to piece together a wedding and having no clue where to start. If you will take advice from me, a complete stranger than do yourself a favor and book Chrissy. I won't take your time and talk to you about her work because that speaks for itself. I'm here to tell you that when you book Chrissy you wont just get amazing photos you get something you can never pay for, a friend. Yes I know that sounds cheesy but believe me when I say that it is true, from the first time we spoke I literally wanted to invite her over just to hang for drinks! My fiance (husband now) thought I was crazy until he met her too. Chrissy made our engagement session look like we had modeling careers. But get this, we actually had fun and I'm not talking like "that was fun we should do it again sometime fun" I mean like "Gahhh That Was Sooo Much Fun What Are You Doing Tomorrow Kind Of Fun!" Fast forward to our wedding day, lets start with it RAINED at our OUTDOOR wedding, obviously I was incredibly upset and between my bridesmaids and Chrissy they got me so freaking excited about the rain that we took pictures out in the rain and they are the cutest photos of my gang ever! Chrissy loves LOVE and goes above and beyond believe me, so just send her a message and thank me later. Chrissy Gilmartin is not only the most magical photographer but one of the best human beings we could have brought into our lives.

Do not hesitate to hire Chrissy for your event. Her gorgeous photos grabbed us right away, and her hilariously written website made us want to MEET her right away. From the first hang out sesh (we got tacos and margaritas because she's amazing), we knew Chrissy was THE photographer for our wedding. Her energy and positivity and true passion for what she does absolutely stands out. When you're picking a wedding photographer, you are picking someone that will be by your side at the most intimate, private moments of your day, and I knew Chrissy would make me feel 100% comfortable - and she did! Listen up gals and guys, if you are looking for an amazing wedding photographer (or just a LIFE photographer) - STOP YOUR SEARCHING - YOU HAVE FOUND HER! Chrissy is a pot of gold at the end of the most incredible rainbow! Not only does she make your fantasy dream wedding photos come true, she also becomes a part of your family. Like, actually, my parents want to hang out with her more! I was so nervous the day of our wedding because the weather was not ideal. When I woke up on that morning and saw the the fog and rain, I was devastated, but then it all erased when I got to the venue and Chrissy smiled at me and was SO excited about it! I don’t think she will ever know how thankful I am for that! She took a weight off my shoulders and was ecstatic about how great the photos were turning out because of the weather! And was she ever right! We absolutely love our photos and are so thankful to her for capturing our day so wonderfully and giving us photos that we will be enjoying and loving for lifetimes. She is simply are amazing! Q: What happens if you miraculously get struck by lightening the night before our wedding and you just can't drag yourself out of the hospital bed to make it to our shin dig?
A: While this has NEVER happened, knock on wood, and it would seriously take a case of the West Nile Flu to keep me away from Y’all… If I was unable to shoot your wedding I would provide you with an extremely competent and fabulously talented photographer who shares my same shooting style AND aesthetic, and I would have them photograph your wedding and then hand over those bad boy images to me so that I can edit them in my signature style! The great thing about photographers is that we LOVE other photographers and are a pretty tight knit crew… So we ALWAYS have someone amazing waiting in the wings.
Q: What happens if our wedding runs over and we want you to stay longer?
A: Hmmm… Pull me to the side, hand me a shot of limoncello, and tell me you love me! That’s really all it takes (lol) But seriously – as I mentioned, you and you alone are my only priority that day, so if you want me to stay longer I am completely down for it! Additional hours will be billed after the wedding at a bundled rate of $600 for both myself and the 2nd shooter – we are a package deal on this one!
Q: How will I receive my final gallery of images?
A: You will receive an email when they are ready that will include a link to your personal, password protected, online gallery – where you can download single images one at a time, or the entire gallery to your laptop/desktop.
Q: How many images will I receive?
A: I like to tell you about 600-800 Fully EDITED High Resolution Images, however the reality is that it will most likely be more… I am kind of obsessed with every facial expression possible, so sometimes I get a lil out of control with my trigger finger 🙂 Bad for me… GREAT for you!
Q: Do I have to purchase prints and/or products through you?
A: No..no.. no.. – You will have a Full Print Release that allows you to print all of your images wherever you choose! Now… I will ask you to PLEASE not print your huge megabyte, high resolution images at a low grade lab, such as CVS, Target, etc… You paid good money to capture these images and the worst thing you can do is to have them printed at a lab that does not utilize the newest and greatest technology available! A professional lab should always be your first choice for printing wedding images. Now because I want to make sure my lovely work of you looks its very best when you print it, I have given you access to my own profession lab – through the online gallery of images that is emailed out to you. But the best part is that I do NOT tack on any fees, or increase the prices to you – so should you choose to order through the online store, you will pay exactly the same price to them that I pay as a professional photographer!
Q: Do you offer any albums, prints, canvases, guest books, etc?
A: Totally! But I want you feeling 1,000% comfortable and excited about the quality of your photographs before placing orders on those. That way, you only order exactly what you want, when you want, and when you know with confidence that they are going to look amazing on your walls and in your fine art heirloom albums. And all of this is done & ordered right through your online gallery!
Q: Do you offer payment plans?
A: Yes, I do! Traditional payments are 25% due at the time of booking (within a week) and the final 75% is due 30 days prior to your wedding day. But, if you wanted to do the payment plan, I can stretch it into equal 1/3's or 1/4's if that works best for you. Just let me know what you prefer, and I will make it happen. It's that easy.
Q: What about engagement sessions… Why do you include them in every package?
A: Ok, so here is why… Your day is all about you and your partner having FUN and celebrating your love! This can only happen if you guys are super comfortable and super confident while I am capturing pics throughout your day! While I am POSITIVE, that you guys are super cool, and super chill, without a doubt – the reality is that most couples have NO idea what to “do” when having their pics taken… and Y’all need some direction. This is why the engagement session is UBER important. This is a time for you and I to get to know each other better, get nice and comfy with a few key poses, and just freaking have FUN! I promise you… this session will completely transform you into a killer image capturing KING and QUEEN!
Q: How do I book you for my wedding day?
A: Love that question the most! To book me for your special day, simply let me know what you want included in your custom collection: 1) Number of hours of coverage, 2) Your Full Legal Names for the contract, 3) What payment plan option works best for you. Once I have this info I can send you an online contract to digitally sign and then once you have paid your 30% retainer through Venmo or Paypal you will officially be on my calendar!!
